Spend Time Outdoors and Learn to Appreciate Our Environment

50% of our activities are held outdoors: Outdoor Living Skills, Nature, Boating, Field Sports, Tennis, Ropes Course, Boating to name a few.

Children makes choices based on a rotating selection of activities.  All children should reach beyond the familiar activity and try new ones in order to grow and discover.  Learning to make good decisions helps children become more independent and responsible.

Enhance Love of Learning through H ands-On Experiential Activities

Experiential education is a philosophy in which educators purposefully engage with learners in direct experience and focused reflection in order to increase knowledge, develop skills, clarify values, and develop people’s capacity to contribute to their communities. Throughout the experiential learning process, the learner is actively engaged in posing questions, investigating, experimenting, being curious, solving problems, assuming responsibility, being creative, and constructing meaning

Each camper will develop an awareness of the needs of others and will work cooperatively with other children and with his counselors.
