Nobles Day Camp was founded in 1948 by Grandin Wise and George K. Bird III with a staff of five and 48 boys and girls. We have been providing a high quality camp program ever since (63 summers). Although we have grown to a staff of over 275 and 500-850 campers a day, Nobles Day Camp continues to be more than just another day camp.
Experienced Staff
Like many of our campers, the
Nobles Day Camp staff considers
the camp a second home. Many of
our staff have been at the camp for
over ten years and take pride in
providing a tremendous growth
opportunity for the campers. 45%
of our staff are adults, parents
and/or schoolteachers; 40% are
college students (many majoring
in education fields); and the
remaining 15% are high school
students (previous campers/CIT's)
and the average age is 28.
Outstanding Facilities
The Nobles Day Camp is fortunate
to have access to incredible facilities.
It is located on the campus of the
Noble and Greenough School in Dedham
and is set along the Charles River. In
addition to acres of field space, the camp
has four heated pools, two gyms, six tennis
courts, an indoor field house and the use of
most school facilities including the
computer lab, ceramics studio,
photography lab/dark room,
Lawrence Auditorium and utilization
of many classroom spaces.
