Ripples of Hope
Every year Nobles Day Camp C.I.T.s (Counselors in Training) organize a fundraiser for a charitable foundation. This year we chose the Ripples of Hope Project for Haiti. The C.I.T’s have made necklaces and bracelets which are available for purchase at a cost of $5 each. These simple pieces of jewelry make the perfect birthday or holiday gift. If you prefer to make a donation instead of purchasing a piece of jewelry, that would be greatly appreciated! This project is way you can be a part of the ongoing efforts to rebuild the Haitian community of Jacmel. This grassroots campaign, inspired and led by children, will provide the foundation for a long a term commitment.Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to buy tents for families in Haiti who have lost their homes to the recent earthquakes. Each tent costs $500.
Our goal for our C.I.T. fundraiser is to sell 1,000 bracelets, which would allow us to provide tents for 10 homeless families in Haiti.
Bracelets/Necklaces will be on sale at Family Night (August 4) and through week 8 of camp. We will take orders and fill them via camper’s backpacks.
