Friend Request

While we do offer the opportunity to request one friend, many of our campers arrive at camp seeking new friendships and new experiences. One of the wonderful aspects of camp is the opportunity to meet new people and make long lasting friendships.

In our experience, many children benefit from some separation from their school and neighborhood friends and many campers come back year after year to be with their “summer friends.”

If your child does have multiple friends who are attending camp, there are several opportunities throughout the day for the campers to be together, even if they are not in the same group. Pool time, lunchtime, special events, and some shared activities are all ways for them to interact with each other throughout the day.

If you would like to request one friend, there is a place on our application form to do so. Each child may request one friend, and the same friend must also request that child. The friends must be the same age and entering the same grade in the fall.
