CIT

Our Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program is only offered to former Nobles Day Camp campers entering 10th grade who have previously attended Nobles Day Camp for three or more summers. Prospective CITs must sign up for all five weeks* from June 23rd through July 25th. Weeks are consecutive and cannot be split.

This intensive training program for participants entering their sophomore year in high school is designed to prepare the CIT for working with adults, peers, and children of all ages, interests, and abilities. The components of the CIT Program focus on the transition from camper to counselor with an emphasis on leadership skills, problem-solving, and peer relations.

Contact the camp office for more information.

*Upon successfully completing the five-week program and an invitation from camp management, CITs may continue in camp on a volunteer basis (no fee for the additional weeks).

CIT Coordinators

Bill Wallace  I have been working at Nobles since 1987! I have been a counselor in a number of capacities: Juniors, Seniors, Gymnastics, Archery, 5A, and 2C, and now I am the CIT coordinator. I am a teacher at Xaverian Brothers High School during the school year, and my children have attended camp as campers and worked here!

Dan MacIssac  I started working at Nobles in 2006 as a counselor in the 9’s program. I teach History at Nipmuc High School in Upton, MA, during the year.
