We have been to outer space, celebrated Halloween, danced through the decades, been amongst heroes and villains, and been on an ocean odyssey. Our campers are going to Hollywood, having color wars in the elements, and getting their tie dye on. All these are our Fun Friday themes this year. We are Nobles Day Camp, and we are having the best summer ever!
In addition to Fun Fridays, we added Wacky Wednesdays this summer. We have worn crazy hats, neon, crazy socks, silly glasses, and sports team jerseys. Wacky Wednesdays and Fun Fridays add to the fun we have every day. With more than 30 activity areas to choose from, our campers and staff are having a blast developing skills, practicing respect, creating friendships, enhancing their love of learning, spending time outdoors, appreciating our natural environment, and, of course, having fun.
Our heated pools are full of campers in swim lessons and playing. Our gymnasiums, dance studio, fields, courts, and ropes course are alive with sports, games and movement of all kinds. In addition to many varieties of wildlife, the Charles River is bustling with campers paddling canoes and kayaks, and fishing from pontoon boats, docks and shores.
Science buffs are experimenting in Robotics, the BEE Zone, and Nature. Foodies are making and eating delights in Fun with Foods and Teen Cuisine. Creative campers are engaging in Beads, Gimp, Friendship Bracelets, Clay, Arts & Crafts, Pix & Flix, and Black & White Photo. Performers are participating in Theater and Rock Band. When campers are in the mood for building, reading, and relaxing play, they flock to Games Galore, Legos, Book Nook, and Magna-Tiles.
In the Owls Nest, our youngest campers are moving in the pool, and at Gymnastics, Archery, and Wiggles & Giggles. They are playing board games, singing songs, learning about nature, tools and science, and making creations in Clay and Arts & Crafts. One day, they were visited by a barnyard full of farm animals that they could get up close and pet.
There is so much going on a camp this summer, and we are loving every minute of it!
