Lunch at Nobles Day Camp
Campers can purchase lunch or bring their own picnic lunch. White milk, chocolate milk, and water are provided each day for all campers. Microwaves and refrigeration are not available, so please plan accordingly.
Lunches purchased from camp are offered Monday through Thursday for all ages. Lunch includes one of the following: a hot entrée, a sandwich, a wrap, or a salad. Fruit and a snack item are included. Every Friday, we provide a cookout for all campers with hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, fruit, and chips. Click here for a list of menu options and lunch and cookout allergens.
The cost for this program is $36 per week.
You may sign up for lunch while registering your camper or at a later date by calling or emailing the camp office. Once purchased, a menu form will appear in the camper’s CampInTouch account. The form must be completed with the camper’s menu selections or it will default to a sun butter and jelly sandwich.
The deadline to place a lunch order AND make menu selections is TUESDAY for lunches the following week. No exceptions.
Nobles Day Camp Snack Program
We are in the process of choosing snacks that meet the USDA CACFP nutrition standards, which include a greater variety of fruit, more whole grains, and less added sugar and saturated fat. We provide a morning snack for all campers.
Allergen Awareness
Nobles Day Camp is nut-aware and will not serve any food containing peanuts or tree nuts. We ask our campers and staff NOT TO PACK PEANUT BUTTER OR ANY NUT PRODUCTS in their lunches or snacks. Please check all food labels to be sure they do not say that they contain any kind of nuts or may contain any kind of nuts. Sunflower butter and soy butter are great substitutes for peanut butter in a PB & J.
All wheat products may contain sesame.
We are committed to keeping our campers safe by:
- prohibiting campers from sharing or exchanging food
- closely monitoring snack and lunch
- training all staff members in EpiPen use
- providing gluten-free meal substitutes upon request
