GRADES 4-7

Nobles Day Camp is all about choices. We believe that allowing campers to choose their own activities helps with their personal growth, encourages them to try new things, and develops decision-making skills.  Every day, campers join coed groups of children entering the same grade next fall. Each hour, campers select an activity from a range of age-appropriate options.  Although counselors encourage children to try new activities, the final decision rests with the camper.  Recognizing that our older elementary and middle school campers seek more challenges, we offer them new and exciting options exclusive to them, alongside many of the tried-and-true activities at more advanced levels.

7th GRADE FIELD TRIPS

Our 7th graders travel away from camp on the second Monday of each session.  Safety is our main concern, so the group travels in a school or activity bus under the close supervision of their group counselors.  Here are some of the attractions we visit: Kimball Farms, X-Treme Craze, Seekonk Grand Prix, United Skates of America, and Boundless Adventures.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE

This sample schedule gives an idea of what our campers entering 4th grade might experience in a week at Nobles Day Camp.  Campers select one activity from the options listed in each activity block.  Schedules for campers entering 5th, 6th, and 7th grades are similar. Campers entering 7th grade will not have instructional swim and will travel one day every two weeks.
